Clippership Motorhomes offers various classes and types of motorhome to fit your travel style and budget. Within each class, Clippership offers two price levels: Mileage option ($.15/mile) or unlimited miles option.

Classes are listed as follows:
Economy Class

On top of the Class C and Class B units we offer luxurious Class A units. You will find those under our 32 foot Class A, 33 foot Class A and 35 foot Class A.

Car Rentals and Cabins
For your convenience we provide environmentally friendly cars that get 50 mpg and onsite cabins that sleep up to 6 people.

TAX CHARGE
An 8% mandatory city tax which can't exceed 240 USD will apply to any rental vehicles or cabins.
An additional 3% state tax will apply to all RV vehicles
An additional 10% tax will apply to all car rentals
HOUSEKEEPING PACKAGE
For $15.00 per person for your entire rental period we provide: dishes, glasses, pitcher, kitchen towel, dish cloth, first aid kit, dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper, bath soap, toilet chemical, matches and hangers.
ALASKA MILEPOST
The Alaska Milepost is available for $29.95 per copy plus $5.00 shipping (mailed in the USA). The absolute best, comprehensive travel planning guide for anyone traveling to or in Alaska.
INSURANCE included at NO CHARGE
  • $50,000 per person bodily injury liability
  • $100,000 total bodily injury liability
  • $25,000 property damage liability

Collision and comprehensive insurance with a $2500.00 deductible is included. Collision insurance covers 'highway' type accidents. 'Off highway' accidents can be easily prevented by (1) driving slowly and (2) having someone outside the vehicle to guide the driver in 'tight' conditions. Collision insurance doesn't cover tires or 'off highway' type accidents including but not limited to those occurring while parking or backing, or accidents involving overhead objects, undercarriage, or interior damage. It is the driver's responsibility to operate the vehicle in a safe manner and exercise all caution.

COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER
A $500.00 deductible Collision and Comprehensive Damage Waiver is available for $15.00 per day on all Class C motorhomes and cars and $20.00 per day on all Class A units. The waiver covers 'highway' traffic type accidents but not parking, backing and overhead or undercarriage clearance accidents as described above. Windshield damage is covered with a $0 deductible.
DEPOSIT
Each Motorhome will require a $500.00 USD reservation deposit. The $500.00 deposit will be retained as a damage deposit during the rental and will be returned after 7-10 business days after the rental in the same manner it was received
PAYMENT
The total rental fee, plus an estimated mileage charge is collected when you pick up the unit. The reservation must be paid in full at the time of pick up. After the motorhome is returned to us in a clean, undamaged condition, actual charges will be computed, adjustments made and your deposit returned. We accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover, Diners Club, American Express, Cash, Traveler's Checks and Personal Checks. Personal checks must be received 30 days prior to RV rental pickup.
Pick Up Time
Pick up times are between 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm
Earlier pick up can be requested but not guaranteed.
After hours pick up is available.
Every effort will be made to provide you with a motorhome at your earliest conveniences.
However please keep in mind that we can't guarantee pick up times. Our pick up times are determine by motorhome availability. All our units have to go through cleaning, restocking and maintenance inspection.
Return Time
Your return time will be determined by your pick up time.
Pick up times before 1:00 pm are subject to 8:00-9:00 am drop off time.
Pick up times between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm. are subject to 8:00-10:00 am drop off time.
Pick up times between 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm. are subject to 8:00-11:00 am drop off time.
Pick up times after 5 pm. are subject to drop off time between 8:00 am and 12:00 pm.
DATE CHANGES
To avoid any fees changes that shorten the length of you reservation must be made 30 days prior to pick up date. If you shorten your reservation less that 30 days prior to pick up a $50.00 per change processing fee will be applied to the rental.
Any changes made within 72 hours or less that will shorten your reservation will be subject to a $75.00 processing fee plus a $45.00 per cancelled day penalty.

Extensions will not be penalized.

CANCELLATIONS

If any reservation is cancelled 30 days prior to pick up $250.00 fee will be applied to all cancellations. Any reservations cancelled less than 30 days prior to pick up are subject to a $350.00 fee. Cancellations 3 days prior to pick up or less forfeit their deposit of $500.00.
